Male, Han nationality, member of the Communist Party of China, born in He County, Anhui Province in 1963, professor and doctoral supervisor. He is currently the president of University of Science and Technology Beijing , the rotating president of China Society of Explosives and Blasting, and the academic leader of mine construction engineering in State Key Laboratory for Geomechanics & Deep Underground Engineering. Mainly engaged in: mine construction engineering, geotechnical engineering, engineering blasting and other fields of research and teaching work. Scientific research achievements include 2 second prizes for National Scientific and Technological Progress and 9 first prizes for provincial and ministerial Scientific and Technological progress. In 1994, he was awarded the “Sun Yueqi Outstanding Youth Science and Technology Award” by Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology in China; In the same year, he was allowed to enjoy special government subsidies; In 1996, he was awarded “Outstanding Youth of Central State Organs”; In 1997, he was awarded the “Nomination Award of Mao Yisheng Beijing Youth Science and Technology Award” by Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology in China, and in the same year, he was identified as “the training object of cross-century academic and technological leader in Jiangsu Province (the second level)”; In 1998, he was awarded the “Young Teacher Award in Colleges and Universities (Research)” by Henry Fok Education Foundation, and in the same year, he was identified as a top-notch professional and technical talent in coal system; In 2000, he won the first “Young Teacher Award” from the Ministry of Education; In 2003, he was awarded the “Excellent Talent Award for Technological Innovation in Coal Industry”. As the project leader or main participant, he has successively undertaken more than 20 projects such as the National 863 Program, the Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Science and Technology Support Program, and National Key R&D Program of China. He has published more than 100 academic papers (including more than 60 SCI and EI papers), published 4 monographs and teaching materials, and won 22 national invention patents.
