Huang Guozhong, Ph.D. of Engineering, Associate Professor, Master Instructor. He is currently the Secretary and Vice Director of the Department of Safety Science and Engineering at the University of Science and Technology Beijing.
In 1994, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in engineering. In 1997, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a master's degree in engineering. In 2001, he graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology with a doctorate in engineering. In 2003, he was a postdoctoral student at Nankai University. In the same year, he entered the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering of University of Science and Technology Beijing to engage for teaching and research.

Hosted or participated in more than 20 national and enterprise-trusted scientific research projects, including as the responsible person to undertake two sub-projects of the national “Eleventh Five-Year” Science and Technology Support Program, and one sub-project of the National Water Project, and more than 10 horizontal projects with enterprises, and more than 30 papers had been published. Guide more than 20 graduate students (in reading), more than 20 graduate students, 3 doctoral students (assisted guidance, including 2 graduates). Undergraduate teaching courses totaled more than 10 (times), taking on more than 20 postgraduate teaching courses (times).
