On 9th December, the National Center for Occupational Safety and Health of NHC coordinated with the China University of Labor Relation held the Second Annual Occupational Hygiene Engineering Conference featured by enhancing industrial protection and promoting sources treatment in Beijing both online and offline simultaneously. Wu Zongzhi (the director of the Department of Occupational Health of NHC), Fan Jingguang (the director of National Center for Occupational Safety and Health of NHC), Liu Yufang (the Vice-Principal of the China University of Labor Relation), Jin Longzhe (the Executive Deputy Dean of RIMSS of USTB) and more than 1500 experts, scholars and reporters attended the conference.

According to the present status of Chinese occupational health supervision and policy, the development and perspective of occupational hygiene engineering were discussed through the conference in terms of seven communities:

 The technic development of protection engineering for occupational diseases hazards

 The construction of occupational hygiene disciplinary

 The status and countermeasure of occupational diseases hazards (including dust, poisonous stuff, and ionizing radiation)

 Industrial enterprise engineering protection management

 Occupational health engineering protection technology

 Equipment and material development

During the experts-discussion session, Jin Longzhe from RIMSS attended and shared the status and progress of mine dust control.

This conference summarized the present research status in the field of occupational hygiene engineering and facilitated the communication of the experts, scholars, and relative organizations, which promoted the protective capability of national occupational health and hygiene engineering, strengthening the hazard sources control, and making progress in 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) of the national occupational health industrial development.
